I really am in a weird mood. o_O I have no words to describe it, really.

Anyway, I thought I'd give y'all an update, whether you'd like to hear it or not. Really I just needed to put up a new journal entry because, hello, the last one is about the beginning of the semester and I'm in summer. oO

Yes, summer. Thank the heavens. I think I was ridiculously close to a nervous breakdown those last few weeks of school, so I welcome summer more than I think I ever have. Those classes were just too much. I got A's in all of them, but at a huge price to my poor mind, I think. Not to mention my social needs were put to the side and are now hitting me full force. D:

But the good news is summer means I can do more art! I'm going to the Portfolio class I've gone to two (or is it three?) times before now. It seems to help me, though I think I've improved a lot just over the past semester, despite a somewhat lacking teacher in my Drawing/Painting II class. Good artist, not so great teacher. :\ I felt like most of what I discovered was self-taught. And though that's not bad, I had really wanted to learn stuff I wouldn't be able to figure out on my own. Oh well. Hopefully I'll manage to upload some of the better things I did in that class. I haven't tried to put them in the scanner yet, since two (and the best ones) are a bit on the large side. I'm hoping they'll fit, though, because I don't have much luck with cameras and artwork. XD
I've also got some personal projects lurking about in my brain. One of which has actually made it to paper, but is a WIP and might take me quite a while just because I'm obviously insane and decided to do a realistic (?) full-body scene of a woman sitting on a tree limb in the forest in colored pencil. Someone should commit me.

Other than that, I think my strange mood comes from reading something very..Honest that my ex wrote in an on-line journal. I'm not sure how much of it was geared towards me (if any), but it just struck me more than I thought it would. But you don't want to hear about this, I'm sure. xD

I need more of The Dresden Files. D: I am so hooked on those books it should be a crime. My supplier (my English teacher) can't get me more right now thanks to school being out, so I have to hunt them out in our ever-wonderful library system. Oh the joy.
